Piedmont Psychiatric Associates (PPA) provides psychotherapy and many other
private outpatient behavioral health services including marriage and family counseling, grief therapy, substance
abuse and chemical dependency treatment. Our staff provides both quality medical and psychological services in
a cost effective manner.
For over twenty years, PPA has provided service to thousands of adults, children, families,
couples and seniors. We are committed to the health and well-being of our patients. PPA combines psychiatry and psychology
in both the assessment and the treatment of our clients. We also strongly believe in a team approach where the psychiatrist
works with the psychotherapists under one roof. It is not uncommon for our medical, psychotherapy and counseling staff
to collaborate during a patient's appointment to best meet their needs while always honoring their right to confidentiality.
We prefer to coordinate care with the primary care physician with the patient‘s consent.
